I don't suppose "Word Automation Services" allows fro conversion of other Office document types? Would be great if we could convert from PowerPoint, Excel and even Visio file formats. :)

How about converting a Word or PDF Document to a Wiki Page?  It's so easier than having to copy and paste a Word Doc every time.

Are you able to update this awesome solution for this feature?

hi Ando,

Nice thought and thanks for posting.

Hi Rajan,

I've used the solution you mentioned before in my SP2007 environment, which works great but reading over the solution this time, I think it's only used in SP2007 not SP2010.

I've also tried the SharePoint Wiki Publisher: this installs fine, creates a wiki page but nothing is uploaded and no support from the owner regarding a fix for that solution.

If you have time to enhance your Document Converter to include SP2010 Word Doc to Wiki conversion, that would be excellent for the SharePoint/Codeplex community.

Hi Ando,

Implementation of PDF/word conversion to Wiki pages is totally different from one provided by SharePoint Word Automation Services. Word Automation is focused and primary used for open word XML documents.

If this solution is not available, i will surely try my hand on this. Looks like a great idea.

Keep you posted. Hope you like my SharePoint Document Conversion utility.

Could you add an option to use the SharePoint 2013 Word Automation Service "On-Demand" file conversion?
